It is with deep sadness and heartfelt love that we announce the passing of Margie L. Parish, age 83, a devoted servant, animal advocate, and beloved member of her community, who entered eternal rest on June 27, 2025.
Born in Cincinnati, Margie lived a life marked by compassion, generosity, and unwavering faith. A devout Catholic, she was a faithful member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, where she served for many years as a Eucharistic Minister. Her dedication extended beyond the pews-she played a vital role as chairperson for the church's annual Immaculate Heart of Mary Festival, leading fundraising efforts with tireless enthusiasm and joyful spirit.
Known for her boundless love and advocacy for animals, Margie was a crusader for the care and protection of abused and abandoned cats and dogs. Her heart was open to all creatures, and her efforts brought comfort and second chances to countless lives, both four-legged and human.
Margie also had a passion for life that was evident in her love for sports. She was an avid tennis player and golfer, never missing an opportunity to enjoy the outdoors and engage in friendly competition. Her energy, warmth, and radiant smile made her a joy to be around, whether on the court, on the course, or in conversation.
To know Margie was to be touched by kindness. She was the kind of person who made everyone feel welcome, loved, and important. Her presence lifted others, and her memory will continue to do so.
She is survived by Judy Wiot (Niece), Tim Wiot (Nephew), Dan Wiot, Jr. (Nephew), Debbie (Rottner) Wallace (Niece) and William Rottner (nephew) and countless friends, parishioners, and fellow animal lovers whose lives she enriched.
Funeral arrangements are being handled with care and compassion by TP White & Sons Funeral Home.
