Mary Ellen Scott

Mary Ellen Scott (née Brooks) passed away on August 30, 2025.

Mary Ellen Scott was born on March 15, 1942 in Louisville KY to the late Basil and Louise Brooks. She is preceded in death by Lloyd Scott, her loving husband and dear sister Betty Ridge. She is survived by daughters Jan (Rob) Powell, Angi Gatian and Robin Zigos and dear sister Joyce Eubank. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews.

Mary Ellen Scott enjoyed writing poetry, she would proudly share her work with others.

Memorial service will be at Mt Washington Baptist Church, 2012 Sutton Ave, Mt Washington OH on Saturday, September 6 at 12:30pm. Friends may visit at the church from 11:30-12:30. There will be a short reading at her final resting place with her devoted husband at the Mt Washington Cemetery. Friends and family are encouraged to join us back at church for a luncheon.
