Mary R. Jacobs

Mary Jacobs passed away on May 18, 2025. If she were ever to wear a nametag it would read "Faithful Servant". Mary's deepest desire is to welcome all her family and friends into the heavenly home God has prepared for all those who love him. She believes John 14:6 that "Jesus is the way and the truth and the life" and John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that He gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life."

Mary was predeceased by her parents, George and Stella Jacobs; her sister Dorothy Seipelt Purdin and her brother Gary who died shortly after his birth. She was married to Ferrell Johnson in February 1950 and was the devoted mother of Marsha, Michael, James and Jeffrey. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Jim, Melinda and Gina. She was the loving grandmother of Melissa (Greg), Christin (Todd), Courtney (Justin), Kelsey (Will), and Becca (Jordan). She was also the caring great grandmother of Nathan, Emerson, Croix, Karina, Jonathan and Jacob.

The family suggests donations to Glen Este Church of Christ in lieu of flowers. The Glen Este Church of Christ is located at 937 Cincinnati-Batavia Pike, Cincinnati, Ohio 45245. Phone: 513-753-8223. At the request of the family, services are private.
