Michael T. Libbee

Michael T. Libbee, passed away on Saturday February 21, 2026, at the age of 71. He was born on February 13, 1955. He was the Son of Thomas and Donna Libbee. Michael passed quietly after a long fight with Parkinson's-leaving behind his son Lucas M. Libbee, grandson Tanner W. Libbee, brother Ronald J. Libbee, and niece Tina Mirabile.

He started out at Holt and Reichard working construction right after college, but a self-employed life called louder. For decades he poured driveways and sidewalks, laid brick and block, built things that lasted-until the disease slowed his hands and forced him out early. Self-employed, stubborn, proud.

Fishing was his real church: Catching Hybrid Stripers at Meldahl Dam, Saugeye at Paint Creek, or whatever was biting. When the water went quiet, he'd trade his rod for a shotgun or a bow-just to stay outside and be in the outdoors.

No big speeches. No fancy titles. Just a guy who loved a good cast, a solid wall, and the people who called him Dad, Grandpa, or Uncle Mike.

He'll be missed.
