Michael P. McGill

Michael Patrick McGill, age 77, passed away on June 18th, 2025, peacefully at The Glen Senior Living Community in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Born in Cohoes, Albany Area of New York to the late John McGill and Ann McGill (nee Fitzgerald). Mike was predeceased by his Wife of 51yrs, Karen McGill (nee Allyn). He is survived by his children, Michael McGill Jr. and Shannon McGill (Paul White), his four grandchildren Jack, Kennedy, Conner and Collin and his sister, Nancy Meyer (nee McGill).

Mike was a graduate of Kansas State University with a bachelor's degree in industrial technology. He was a proud member of the United States Army Reserves.

Mike worked for General Electric in Selkirk, New York for several years. During his time, he pioneered and developed new processes for blow molded products for aerospace interiors, truck bodies and vehicles. He was famous for his work on Spoilers for cars and won an award for developing a case to hold magnetic tape reals for the Winter Olympics.

In 1990, he relocated his family to their new home in Cincinnati, Ohio, where he spent the next 20 plus years consulting on new technologies in his field.

Mike was a generous soul and loved entertaining and spending time with his friends and family. He will be missed by all of us. We will keep the precious memories of his boisterous personality in our hearts forever.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
