Michael Eugene Shaver, 78 passed away May 6, 2026. He was born July 17, 1947 in Milwaukee, WI, the son of the late Eugene and Barbara Ann Shaver.
Beloved husband of Penny. Loving father of Stephen. Cherished grandfather of Malia. Dear brother of Karen Benton, Bryan, Kevin, Pat, Paul and the late Timothy Shaver.
Michael attended Father Ryan in Nashville then went on to attend Bellermine College in Louisville, KY, Wright State University in Dayton and Miami University in Oxford.
Mike loved his family, the Cincinnati Reds, Bengals and everything Notre Dame. He will be sorely missed by his beloved four legged companions.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, May 13, 5 PM at St. Paul Parish (7301 Dixie Hwy. Florence, KY 41042). A celebration of life will follow at Braxton Brewery (8901 US 42 HWY, Union KY 41091) from 6:30-8:30.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
