Michelle A. "Mickey" (Murphy) Niehoff, age 72, passed away peacefully on May 15, 2026, in Cincinnati, Ohio. Born on July 31, 1953, in Cincinnati, Michelle lived a life full of love, laughter, and dedication to her family and friends.
A proud graduate of McAuley High School (1971) and the University of Cincinnati (1976), Michelle earned her bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice. Her career was centered around health care, where she worked part-time for many years. She spent 15 years as an emergency room registrar at Anderson Mercy Hospital and later served as an administrative assistant at Oasis Health Care for 11 years.
Michelle was deeply devoted to her family. She is survived by her loving husband Dan Niehoff, cherished daughter Brooke (Mark) Clayton and her grandchildren Ben and Nick Clayton. She was preceded in death by her father Homer Murphy, mother Dorothy Graf Murphy and brother John Blaine Bullock.
Known affectionately as Mickey, Michelle will be remembered for her infectious laughter, unwavering loyalty and positive outlook on life. Her Irish heritage was a source of immense pride for her. She delighted in several trips to Ireland and found great joy in attending events and concerts at the Irish Heritage Center of Cincinnati.
Michelle's memory will forever remain a source of love and joy. May she rest in peace.
Services will be held at Guardian Angels Church, Monday, June 8th. Visitation 9-10:30AM, Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am. A Celebration of Life will be held after the Mass at the Irish Heritage Center of Cincinnati.
