Norma Jean Sampieri (nee Peak) age 89, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 2, 2025.
Beloved wife of the late James Copens and Norman Sampieri. Dear Mother of Robert Buehler, Mindy Copens, James Copens II and Holly Copens. Loving Great grandmother and Guardian of Averi Veit. Devoted sister of May Trapp, Thelma Reed and Joyce Peters. Also survived by 5 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
The youngest of four daughters, Norma was born to Glen and Geneva Peak on June 7, 1936 in Cincinnati, OH. She worked as a secretary and administrative assistant at the Hamilton County Courthouse and Goulds Pumps until she retired.
Norma touched countless people in her life. She was an endless bundle of energy who gave tirelessly to her family and others. She was a biblical example and role model for living a life of giving and charitable works. She was also very well known for her peanut brittle, cinnamon candy and holiday cookies, which will be greatly missed by everyone fortunate enough to have tasted them.
Norma's joyful presence and generous heart will be deeply missed but treasured always by everyone who knew her.
Funeral to be held Monday, December 8 at T.P. White & Sons, 2050 Beechmont Avenue Cincinnati, OH 45230. Visitation from 9-10 AM-Service from 10-10:30 AM. Burial will follow at Arlington Memorial Gardens, 2145 Compton Road, Cincinnati, OH 45231-Garden of the Good Shepherd.
