Paul J. Miller

Paul James Miller passed away on November 6, 2024, at the age of 61. He was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and raised in Sylvania and Cincinnati, Ohio. After graduating from Purcell High School, he attended Kent State University.

Paul found joy in life's simplest and most grounding activities-gardening, fixing, building. He made his living doing what he loved, restoring historic homes. He made Asheville, North Carolina his home for over 15 years and never stopped expressing his gratitude for the peace and happiness he found there.

He is survived by his father, Gerald Miller; his sisters, Michelle Miller McKinney and Ellie Miller Knauss; and his brothers, Marty Miller and Andrew Miller. Paul was preceded in death by his mother, Thomasine Miller; his brother, Michael Miller; and his sister, Sarah Miller Smith.

A funeral Mass celebrating Paul's life will be held on Tuesday, May 20, at 10:30 a.m. at Guardian Angels Church, Beechmont Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio. All are welcome.
