Philip Vernon Gleeson, of Anderson Township, Cincinnati, Ohio, native of Chicago, Illinois, passed away at the age of eighty-eight. Born October 29, 1937, he died peacefully the morning of November 15, 2025. He was predeceased by his parents - Martin and Katherine Gleeson; eleven siblings - Thomas, Josephine, John, Martin, James, Winifred, William, Mary, Katherine, Helen, and Margaret; and his grandson Conor. He was a devoted husband to Catherine to whom he had been wed for more than sixty-two years. He was a loving, giving father to his five sons Kevin, Joseph, Timothy (Nancy), Michael (Michelle), and Barry (Michelle). He adored his seven surviving grandchildren Erin, Katie, David, Ashley, Rory, Michaela, and Lilla, and loved to follow their exploits and travels as they grew into adults themselves.
He worked hard, even after he retired. He was a patient and instructive baseball coach to each of his sons and their teams. He loved to play golf, root on the Xavier Musketeers, and grill salmon, brats and chicken on his Weber grill on the deck. He will be deeply missed.
