Ralph William "Bill" Stropes

)Although we always called him "Bill", he was born in 1938 as Ralph William Stropes in Cincinnati, OH to parents Ralph and Helen Stropes. He grew up in the eastern suburbs of Cincinnati where he attended the public school system and graduated from Withrow High School and University of Cincinnati Business School.

While Bill served as a Navy Supply Officer, he and his wife, Sandy, had a tour in the Philippines Islands from 1963-1965. After returning to the States on the completion of his military service, he returned to work at Cincinnati Bell Telephone company. Upon retiring from Cincinnati Bell, he enjoyed sharing good times with friends - golfing, bowling, playing adult softball with Yesterday's Kids Softball.

Bill passed away on May 8, 2025, at age 87. Beloved husband of Sandra Stropes (nee Johnson), devoted father of Bryan H. Stropes, Elizabeth (Beth) Stropes, loving grandfather of Linda Helen Stropes (Warren Lippert) and Kaitlyn Nicole Stropes. He will be sorely missed.

Celebration of Life gathering will be held at T.P. White & Sons Funeral Home, 2050 Beechmont Ave., Mt. Washington on Friday, May 23 from 1-2:30PM with a Celebration of Life service starting at 2:30PM.
