Richard Louis Siegel of Milford, OH passed away peacefully February 25, 2026, at the age of 92. Dick, as everyone called him, was born February 23, 1934, in Eau Claire, WI to the late Louis and Grace (nee Larsen) Siegel. Dick grew up in Indian Hill and Terrace Park. In 1952, he graduated #2 in his class from Terrace Park High School where he enjoyed playing basketball and football. He went on to serve his country in the Air National Guard and later received his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Xavier University in 1957.
Dick met the love of his life Shirley on a blind date through a mutual friend while attending Xavier University and they married in 1957. Dick worked 33 years at Western Southern Life Insurance Co. in the investment department. He decided to retire early so that he and Shirley could spend their summers on Mullet Lake in Michigan and winters in St Augustine, FL where they enjoyed fishing and golfing with family and friends. After a year of retirement, Dick got back in the game and worked for a start-up investment advisory firm by the name of Livingston and Jefferson. He thoroughly enjoyed researching company financials, discussing the latest market trends, and managing his clients' portfolios. He took great pride in outperforming the market.
Dick is survived by Shirley Siegel (nee Brockmeyer) his wife of 68 years, his children Lynne Siegel (Scott Hendricks), John (Denise) Siegel, and Laurie (Evan) Howell; his grandchildren Emma (Michael) Collins and Abigail (AJ) Skubak as well as his brother, Bill Siegel, six nieces, a nephew and many grand-nieces and nephews.
