Ronald E. Marksity

With deepest sorrow, we announce the passing of Ronald Earl Marksity. Born in 1943 in Cincinnati, OH, Ron passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at the age of 82 in his hometown. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Pamela Kay Marksity, and his two sons, Lawrence Burke and Lucas Drew, who were at his side at the time of his death.

Ron's final days were an impressive display of his courage and tenacity for life. While his decline from Parkinson's Disease challenged him and the family in recent years, he most admirably fought the good fight. From the family to his caretakers, we can bear witness to this zeal for living even in his final days.

Ron graduated Western Hills High School in 1961. He graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 1965. Having completed the ROTC program, he was commissioned in the Army the same year. Ron served in the Infantry in Vietnam (1966-1967), transferred to the Intelligence branch, and served at Fort Holabird, Maryland until being honorably discharged. Ron entered private business, primarily at Senco for 13 years. He then opened his own consulting firm, Success Strategies, where for 16 years he provided consulting services to companies domestically and in Western Europe. In 2001, Ron retired and took up writing his memoirs.

A memorial service for Ron will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2025 at The Chapel at Crossroads Church in Oakley (Cincinnati, OH). The Visitation begins at 2:30pm, and the Service will be at 3:00pm.

Following the service, there will be a reception to gather and share our favorite memories of Ron starting at 4:00pm at The Pub Rookwood, 2692 Edmondson Road, Cincinnati OH 45208.
