Sheila C. Wheatley (nee Carroll), age 85, passed away on April 19, 2026. She was the beloved wife of James "Larry" Wheatley, devoted mother of Patrick (Kelly) Wheatley, Kelly (Kevin) Kayden, and Ryan (Tracy) Wheatley, loving grandmother of Samantha, Griffin, and Jordan Wheatley, Kourtney, Kooper, and Kole Kayden, and Reese and Reagan Wheatley and dear sister of the late Georgia Burdick.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 7121 Plainfield Rd., Deer Park, on Thursday, May 7 at 11 am where friends may visit from 10 am until time of Mass.
If desired, memorials may be directed to Restless Legs Syndrome Foundation (rls.org).
