Tim Nelson, 64, died peacefully at home with his wife, Amy by his side on June 18, 2026.
Born to Rose and Edwin Nelson on January 29, 1962.
He is survived by his wife Amy, and his family Tanner (Kendra), Emily, Ben (Hailey), Sam (Morgan) and his grands Spencer, Graham, SJ, Noa and Beau. Brothers Guy (Lisa) Nelson and Jeff (Martha) Nelson and sister Mindy (Eddie) Cole and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
Tim’s greatest joy was spending time with his family – Favorites being, Sunday dinners, game nights, vacationing at the beach and playing with his grandchildren every available moment.
Sales was Tim’s calling for his career but his joy lay in umpiring and refereeing kids sports.
He will forever be remembered as the King of Dad Jokes, with a twinkle of kindness in his eyes with everything he did. He never hesitated to lend a hand and his generosity seemed limitless. To his grands he will be remembered as the “Bouncy Bouncy Doodle” and “Look at me, tall as a tree.”
Husband, Dad, GiGi Pop, Brother and Friend, Tim you will be so very much missed. You will forever be in our hearts, your memory will live on in stories, laughs, cries and smiles.
Mass of Christian Burial with be July 3rd, 2026, at St. Peter in Chains Cathedral Cincinnati, Ohio at 11:30 AM.
Tim’s Life with be celebrated following mass at the Nelson residence.
In lieu of flowers, Tim’s request is a donation to be made to his grandchildren’s college fund. Donation information will be forthcoming.
