Virginia "Layne" Richard-Hammock

Daughter of the late Robert and Virginia Richard. Survived by Jay, husband of 46 years, children Tyson, Alex (Mishel) and grandchildren Ayla, Ripley, Elliot and Lana Hammock. Siblings Robbie and Rand (Philip) Richard. Layne was a graduate of Mariemont High School and The University of Cincinnati. Prior to retirement, Layne was Director of Religious Education at Unitarian Universalist Churches in Cincinnati, Seattle Washington and Cleveland Ohio. She will be remembered for her dedication to fighting for justice and equality for everyone. Celebration of life on Friday Oct.16 at 7pm at Heritage U U church 2710 Newtown Rd.
