William "Bill" L. Hiles

Bill passed away on November 21, 2025 at the age of 85. He was born on March 1, 1940 in Cincinnati and grew up on the River in California, Ohio. He was a devoted husband, loving father and friend. Bill was known for his kind heart, friendly personality and beautiful blue eyes.

Bill is survived by his wife Diana, his son David (Shelly), Tony (Carrie), and daughter Emily, along with two granddaughters Meredith and Katie, and great granddaughter Emery and several nieces and nephews. Bill is preceded in death by his father Raymond Hiles, mother Julie Hiles, sisters Betty Foley, Virginia Cornell and Mary Jane Streithorst and by brothers Thomas, Donald and David Hiles.

Bill met his wife Diana while working together and was married on July 25, 1986. Through 39 and a half years of love they created a warm, inviting home for family and friends. Because of his love of cooking and his hospitable nature everyone felt welcome and well fed. No one left without a full belly and a doggie bag. He had a great sense of humor and was always making dad jokes. He loved old cowboy movies, gardening as well as enjoying the antics of animals around the yard. He had a deep respect and love of God, the Bible and its promises. Bill will be deeply missed by all.

Funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 30 at 3PM at T.P. White & Sons Funeral Home, 2050 Beechmont Ave., Mt. Washington. Friends may visit the funeral on Sunday from 2-3PM. Burial will be on Monday, December 1 at 11AM at Mt. Moriah Cemetery. All are welcome to meet at T.P. White & Sons at 10:30AM to go in procession to the cemetery.
