Yvonne Grubb

Yvonne Grubb, age 64, went to be with the lord on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, after losing her battle with cancer.

Yvonne Grubb was born on April 29th, 1962, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Bige and Bernice Grubb.

Yvonne was survived by her 3 sons, Michael (Melanie) Swinegar, Robert (Taylor) Gabbard Jr., and Dillion (Kila) Gabbard, 15 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and siblings: Bige (Rose) Grubb Jr. and Pamela Jo (Rick) Hines, along with many nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bige and Bernice Grubb; her sister Glenna (Jerry) Hughes; her sister Sharon 'Kay' Stark; her brother Darrell Wayne Grubb; and the love of her life and soulmate, Robert Gabbard.

Yvonne was a beautiful soul and an all-around party girl. She was a fun-loving, one-of-a-kind woman. She knew how to make the most of life. She loved playing pool, bowling, and doing her arts and crafts (Diamond Art), but most of all, spending quality time with her family and friends.

Gone from our sight but never from our hearts. Forever loved, forever missed, but never forgotten.

Celebration of Life/Visitation: Thursday, October 8th, 2026, from 5:00 pm- 7:00 pm at T.P. White, 2050 Beechmont Ave., Mt. Washington.
