Condolence From: Marjorie Pope
Condolence: John (Johnny as we affectionately knew him) was not just my cousin, but, my other brother. Growing up, he spent summers at our home in the country and sometimes was in the dog house (literally). He learned early the meaning of family and suffered loss at an early age. He wasn’t always the best guy, and learned a lot at the hands of “hard knocks”. He settled down when he married his true love Gail and she fit right into the family. John’s love for family and God shined through his life. He was always there with a kind word or just to check on you. We have lost a dear friend, cousin, brother, father, husband, grandfather, but we have no doubt that he has attained his life goal and is now in Heaven rejoicing with our Lord. Until we meet again.
