My heartfelt condolences to all that knew and loved Bruce, particularly his family. We were friends for more than 30 years and a part of my heart is forever broken. Bruce always put others first, often to his own detriment. I am forever changed for knowing him and he will live forever in my heart.
There are things in life we don't want to happen, but we have to accept; things we don't want to know, but have to learn; and people we can't live without, but have to let go.
It is with deepest sorrow that I am out of state and will miss the service by just hours. Please know that my thoughts and love are with you all now and always.
