Condolence: Maureen was an amazing woman who touched my heart every time I saw her. She always made me smile and gave me "grandma" hugs as she called them. She brightened the room every time she walked in and will be missed by many.

Condolence: Even though it has been many, many years, your Mom's smile is still as clear today to me as it was when I last saw it at St. Margaret Mary School so long ago. Maybe she carried it around with her because she was happy that she had some good kids! Remembering the good times will ease the pain. My prayers are with you.

Condolence: To the entire McCracken family,
My heart goes out to you for the loss of your mother, grandmother and friend. There are no words I can say to comfort you, but I do know of the comforter who will guide you through this journey. Keep the faith as Mrs. McCracken preached in her life. We know she is at peace resting with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Matthew 5:4 Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.

Condolence: I am truly sorry for your family's loss. Maureen was in my life for such a brief amount of time, yet deeply impacted me. She restored my faith that some people could truly be loving and care, while remaining humble in God's Grace. Truly an inspiration.
This Lady showed me the meaning of unconditional love. She opened her heart to me and my kids. And when I needed it she even opened her home to me.
So many talk of Love, Acceptance, Patience, Joy, of Giving, of Grace. This Lady didn't have to talk about any of it, she embodied them.
I will miss her Irish brogue, her wit, her laughter, her spunk. God got a good one on Wednesday.

Condolence: Maureen was my neighbor and friend for nearly 30 years. In the fall of 2014, my husband Ed and I moved to California. I am so blessed to have spent an evening with her last November when I returned for a visit. We caught up on everything and then she told me that after I left, she cried and missed me so much. I was so touched. Maureen was a wonderful lady and a good friend. We shared books and she introduced me to Irish writers. We talked politics and tried to solve the world's problems. She loved and adored her children and grandchildren. She was a gracious host every time I entered her door. I loved her airing bread! The world has lost the best that Ireland had to offer. I shall miss sending her St Patrick's Day greetings and hearing about her wonderful family. I wish I was there to help celebrate her life. I can only guess that she is so happy to be with her beloved Jim in Heaven. May she rest in eternal peace. Love, Beth (her former neighbor at 862.)

Condolence: There is so much I could say about my dear friend, Maureen. She was one of my dearest, closest friends, an unlikely, rare, friendship that began 10 years ago, and we became inseparable. She was a shining example of love and service work to others, never saying, "Let me know if there's anything I can do for you", she just did it. She was always baking something for someone, or sending a card, or inviting you to dinner, or calling someone, anything she could do to help or vounteer her services. I will miss her so much, her school girl laughter, her "bye, luv!", there will just never be another Maureen. She was like a family member to my husband and me. She went every where with us. My thoughts and prayers are with all her family members. She loved her family and was so devoted to them all.I will never forget you, Maureen. Until I see you again, bye Luv!
