Daniel John  Spokas
Daniel John Spokas, age 73 of Union Twp. and formerly of Newtown passed away to return to our Heavenly Father after a long illness on August 15th, 2018. He was the loving husband of Sherry Cunningham Spokas, devoted father of Joel (Johana) and Eric Spokas and the late Nicole Musgrove, caring father-in-law of Todd Musgrove, cherished grandfather of Harper, Fletcher, and Tag Musgrove, and dear brother of Lynda (Ken) Krstolic. He is also survived by many other loving family members and friends. Dan leaves a legacy of service to all who knew him and many who didn't and all those he loved were truly blessed. His apple pies were legendary and his selfless service to others was unmatched. Dan loved to laugh and make others laugh as well; his smile will never be forgotten. Funeral services will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 700 Clough Pike, Cincinnati, Ohio 45245 on Wednesday, August 22nd at 11 am. Visitation will be held at the church on Wednesday from 10 to 11 am. If desired, memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association. T.P.
