Obituary for George Patrick Mc Gonigle

McGonigle, George Patrick of Cincinnati beloved husband of Ruth Claire (Cullen), loving father of Maureen (Bob) Hannon of Cincinnati, and Robert McGonigle of Dallas, PA, dedicated grandfather of Kelly (Chris) Range, Rob Hannon and Kevin Hannon of Cincinnati and Sean Hannon of Chicago, loving great-grandfather of Katie Claire and Emily Grace Range. George is survived by niece Patricia Sullivan of Mariemont, and many nieces, nephews, and sister-in-law Carol (Francis) McGonigle of Boston, MA. George was employed by the Cabot Corporation in sales for over 30 years. Upon retirement and after caring for his wife Claire (prior to her death in 2006), George had a passion for volunteer work, giving of his time and talent to Anderson Mercy Hospital, Fernside and the St. Vincent de Paul Society. His fellow volunteers grew to be friends. George also loved to golf, and enjoyed coaching the McNicholas High School reserve men's golf team. Mar. 24, 2016. Age 89 years. Mass of Christian Burial at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Anderson Twp., on Wed. Mar. 30, at 5 PM. Friends may visit at the Church on Wed. from 4-5 PM.
