James E. Gibbons III beloved husband of Rita Ann Gibbons (nee Dugan) devoted father of Tricia (David) Bird, Jim (Lindy), and Greg (Roseanna) Gibbons, dear grandfather of Colleen (Brent), Erin, Molly, Shannon, Seamus, and Sean. Dec. 29, 2017. Age 84 years. Jim graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1955 and was the chairman of the National Senior Alumni Board and an avid boater and world traveler. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Rose Church 2501 Riverside Dr. on Fri. Jan. 5, at 9:30 AM. Friends may visit at T P WHITE & SONS Funeral Home 2050 Beechmont Ave. Mt. Washington on Thur. from 4:30 - 6:30 PM.
