Jeremiah "Bill" W.  Dempsey
Jeremiah William "Bill" Dempsey passed peacefully at 64 years of age surrounded by his loving family and friends on June 6, 2018 (his 31st wedding anniversary) in the comfort of his home after a brave and courageous battle with cancer. Bill is preceded in death by his parents Joe and June Dempsey along with his Cousin, Dave Held. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife and angel on earth of 31 years, Joy Dempsey (nee Komosinski) and beloved children Josh (Michelle Jones) and Jess (Jacob Amburgy). He will also be fondly remembered and missed by his loving sisters Eileen (Wayne Werling), Peggy (John Jonas) and loyal brothers who were his best friends Mike (Joan), Dan (Jenny), John, and Matt (Teresa). Billy D will be missed by his numerous other dear friends, brothers, Cas, Gerry, and so many more. Bill is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and coworkers. Bill dedicated and devoted his time caring for Cardinal Pacelli School and Our Lord Christ the King Parish as a custodian. He wanted to thank Father Smith, Father Voellmecke, and each and every student, teacher, and staff member there for the immense amount of cards, videos, thoughts, prayers, and Tootsie Roll Pops that he enjoyed at home. Cool Willy D is now Home and resting peacefully in the presence of his Lord. A visitation will be held at T.P. WHITE & SONS Funeral Home, 2050 Beechmont Ave. Mt. Washington on Sunday, June 10, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lord Christ the King Church, Mt. Lookout on Monday, June 11, at 10:00 a.m. Memorials to The Athenaeum of Ohio, Mt. St. Mary's Seminary or Our Lord Christ the King Church or Guardian Angels Church.
