Obituary for Marilyn Yvonne Lieberman
Mrs. Marilyn Yvonne Eckerlin Lieberman, age 82, of League City, Texas passed away peacefully Sunday September 8, 2019 at Delany Care Facility, League City, Texas.
She was born on November 28, 1936 to Lyonel and Wilma Eckerlin of Milford, Ohio and grew up in Anderson Twp. and Forestville in Cincinnati, Ohio with her sister Linda. She is preceded in death by her parents.
Marilyn was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. She was beloved by her spouse Ronald Lieberman; her son, Mark Lieberman, Cincinnati, OH; her daughters Lori (Michael) Drumm, Lawrence, KS. and Lisa (Larry) Valderrama, Houston, TX; a sister, Linda Eckerlin, Raymore, MO.; Grandchildren, James Distler, Tayler Valderrama, Rylee Drumm, Megan Drumm and Amber Lieberman; great grandchildren, Skyler Lieberman and Logan Lieberman. They were her true joy. She visited them often, attended their activities, always teased and joked, and never showed up empty-handed. She was a woman of good humor and great love. She was a long and faithful wife to her husband, Ronald Lieberman for 61 years. Just shy of 62 years by 7 days.
She worked at Cincinnati Bell and Chase Bank as a teller. Her favorite occupation was “Grandma Caregiver” for Tayler, from birth to 16 years of age. To fill her days after Tayler was driving, she volunteered at Body and Soul, a mission through Bay Harbour United Methodist Church, League City, Texas. She treasured the fellowship and new friends.
A visitation will be held at TP White & Sons Funeral Home, 2050 Beechmont Ave, (Mt. Washington) Cincinnati, OH 45230 on Saturday, September 21st from 10 am to 11 am. A graveside service will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery, 687 US-50, Milford, Ohio 45150 at 11:45 am.
A Memorial service will be held at Bay Harbor United Methodist Church, 3459 FM 518 East, League City, TX 77573 , on Saturday, September 28th at 1 pm. The family will greet friends immediately following the service.
