Obituary for Mary E. Metz

Metz, Mary E. (nee Miller) passed away after her brave battle with cancer at the Hospice of Cincinnati location on December 27, 2015 at the age of 87. Mary is survived by her four children, Michael (Sheila) Metz, George Metz, Dianne Metz Genton and Anthony Metz, her grandchildren, Robert Genton, Christopher Metz, Ryan Metz, Craig Genton, Angela Genton Hultz, Maria Metz Bland, Patrick Metz, Tracy Metz Schwalbach, Joey Metz and Heather Metz Frasure and 15 great-grandchildren. Mary was born May 25, 1928 in Mount Washington, Ohio to Jasper and Hazel Miller. She married Charles Joseph Metz (deceased 1980). Mary was a dedicated mother, grandmother, great-grandmother (Gigi), and friend to all who had the privilege to know her. She touched everyone she met and leaves behind a community of people who loved her dearly. She was an unwavering rock for her family and extended family. We will forever remember her warmth, her energy and her never failing ablity to love unconditionlly and fullly. A memorial service is scheduled for Thursday Dec. 31 at 12 Noon at T.P. White and Sons Funeral Home, 2050 Beechmont Ave., Mt. Washington with visitation on Thursday 10:30 A.M. to 12 Noon. Mary's son, Michael will officiate. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Mary's life. The family would like to thank the amazing caaregivers and Hospice staff that Mary encountered during her treatment for their dedication to her comfort.
