Thomas L. "Tom"  Evans Jr.
Thomas L. Evans Jr., husband of the late Nancy W. Evans (nee Wiederstein) married for 52 years, beloved father of Michael T., Douglas L., and Dr. Richard A. (Marianne) Evans, devoted brother of Marjorie (the late Art) Merten, the late Jeannette (the late James) Jones, and Winnie (the late William) Worth, loving grandfather of Cindy, Brooke, Lang, Reece, Joshua, Alex, Luke, and Grace Evans, former father-in-law of Stephanie Evans, also survived by many nieces and nephews. Tom graduated from Anderson High School in 1944 and from Ohio State University in 1950. Tom served his country proudly during WW II in the Army Air Force in Germany. He was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon, active with the Big Brother program, Meals on Wheels, and an active member of the Mt. Washington Presbyterian Church since 1957. Tom managed the MAC Cubs knothole team for 4 years and won the National Championship in 1954 and worked 30 years at Ryerson Steel. Died Feb. 10, 2018. Age 91 years. Residence Anderson Twp. Service at Mt. Washington Presbyterian Church, 6474 Beechmont Ave. Mt. Washington on Sat. Feb. 17, at 11 AM. Friends may visit at the Church on Sat. from 10-11 AM. Memorials to Mt.
