TP White & Sons Funeral Home

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Virginia Schmidt can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Joanne Fenton

Growing up as neighbors to the Schmidt family was such a blessing. We were more than neighbors, we were family. I think I spent more time at their house than mine. The love, faith and generosity of this family made such an impact on my life. Elmer & Ginny were like second parents to me and treated me as such. My most treasures memories of childhood are with the Schmidt family from prayer group with Grandma Schmidt, swimming all summer in their pool, parties, sleepovers, treehouses, horseback riding, Skyline chili, trips to the zoo, non stop playing to vacations. Ginny was always there for me no matter what. I cannot express the amount of love, respect and appreciation I hold for Ginny as well as the rest of the family. The entire family is one of my most treasured blessings. Ginny will live on in all of us who were blessed enough to have her in our lives. My heart goes out to Bill, Peggy, Ron and Jim for your loss. I love all of you so much and I am so grateful for the childhood we shared. God bless you all!
