Condolence From: Doug Sandhage
Condolence: I remember well and fondly Mr. and Mrs. Beers as they were my immediate neighbors for more than a dozen years on Farmbrook Drive. Doug was always up for a conversation, in particular if I was getting ready to go on vacation and might happen to be passing through Vermont. I still have a copy of his vacation highlights notes and a rough map on how to get to where he grew up. As neighbors we watched out for each other and that's one of the best definitions of neighborliness I can think of. Even though I moved away years ago, and hadn't seem him since, I can say he was a good man and I'm sure he will be missed.
