Our heartfelt sympathy to your families on Henriā€™s passing. Henri was a large part of our lives, celebrating birthdays, weddings, graduations and Holidays. He welcomed us, as his extended family, into his home on many occasions with a generous heart and a loving nature. His presence will be greatly missed by all who were Blessed to know him. May you find comfort in the wonderful memories of Henri.

Thank you for your kinds words. Yes, in agreement to what you said. He genuinely felt you and your family as his own. He loved you all and was always happy to welcome you into his life as you welcome him into yours.

Dear family. Music was an important value in Uncle Henri's life. I would like to share this song with you. With Uncle Henri, and all of his other brothers and sisters who have passed away in our mind.
The Family Tree-Venice

Branches in the wind
Still standing here together
One more storm to weather
We'll get through it yet
So we're gathered here
Holding on to each other
To let go of another one we won't forget
Now as we say goodbye
To one of our own
We may be lonely
But we're not alone
Though the leaves will fall
And the tears will flow
May it always comfort us to know
The family tree will always grow
Father down to son, mother to daughter
Thicker than water, we are made of this
From the Earth we rise
To the Earth returning
We'll keep a candle burning
For the ones we'll miss
And when we say goodbye
To one of our own
We may be lonely
But we're not alone
Though the leaves will fall
And the tears will flow
May it always comfort us to know
The family tree will always grow
It's stronger than the wind can blow
The family tree will always grow

What a great sentiment and way to honor him and all the siblings. Yes, music so a part of him and most of if not all of us who share the Botter bloodline. Most indeed 'the family tree will always grow'. Thank you Yvonne.

Lenny, Thank you for your kind words. I'm so happy that you were able to meet back in 2017. We shall miss him dearly. Love, Barb

Dan Botter Posted at 04:16pm

Thank you Lenny. Yes, "full of life" is synonymous with Dad's being. He was none stopped and loved all around him specifically family. You have always been apart of what he held dear to his heart. The past year and half was not how he wished to carry on and I take solace knowing he is finally resting at peace in the hands of God.

To the Cronin and Botter families.
Our condolences for the loss of Uncle Henri. We wish you a lot of strength. We have experienced Uncle Henri in 2017 when he was in the Netherlands, as a cordial man with a great interest in the other.
We will always remember him. Kind regards.

Dear Guus and Tineke, Thank you so much for your message. He was so happy to make that trip back in 2017, of course, with plans to return but that was not to be. It was so nice that he could meet so many family members. Love to you all. Barb (Botter) Cronin

Dan Botter Posted at 04:33pm

Thank you Guus and Tineke. I am glad you had the opportunity to visit with my Dad. He loved that trip and so glad he went. He spoke of it often and continuously wanted to go back. He was fond of your Mother as likewise with many of his siblings. Bittersweet knowing that he is reunited with the ones that have passed before him. Family has always been near and dear to his heart.
